Robert F. Jones papers [manuscript], circa1960-2002.

The collection includes manuscripts of Jones' novels including Blood root; Blood sport; Blood tide; Deadville; The run to Gitche Gumee; Slade's glacier; and, Tie my bones to her back. There are also manuscripts of some of Jones' non-fiction works, including African twilight. The collection also includes notes, interviews, and copies of Jones' articles for Sports Illustrated; book reviews; correpondence with agents, publishers, and other authors. A scrapbook contains book jackets, publication notices, reviews for "Blood sport," 1975 and "The diamond bogo," 1977. Correspondents include: Edward Abbey, Jamaica Kincaid, Elmore Leonard, Steve McQueen, Howard Mosher, Craig Nova, and Jackie Stewart.
